Burnham promises tough choices on Tuesday but won't name a cut
Asked on Sunday what he would cut to balance the books, Andy Burnham said his conference speech on Tuesday would show he was prepared to take those decisions. He said the economy was moving in the right direction before the Iran war and that Chancellor John Healey was clear about being very prudent. He told the Guardian voters wanted honesty and difficult but real decisions.
