Fifa says media trying to undermine president Gianni Infantino with untrue claims
Fifa alleges that some individuals are engaged in a "concerted and ongoing effort by some to undermine" its president, Gianni Infantino, following fresh reports. Uefa confirmed a "departure payment" to a female employee allegedly linked to Infantino, which Fifa called "categorically untrue". Fifa said it would challenge inaccurate or misleading reporting directly.
