Farage referred to FCA over crypto backer donations
An allegation has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding Nigel Farage, suggesting his public endorsement of cryptocurrencies might have served the interests of a billionaire benefactor. The Labour Party chair asked the financial regulator to investigate whether Farage used his role to help those funding him. Christopher Harborne, who invests in cryptocurrency, has contributed millions to both Farage and Reform UK, including an unprecedented £9 million last August.
