F1 looks at Bahrain race return plans
Formula One could add back a cancelled Middle East race later this year as organisers try to avoid losses linked to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia being dropped from the calendar. Liberty Media chief Derek Chang said officials are reviewing options after the conflict forced both April races to be cancelled. Reports put the financial hit at about $190m to $200m, while teams could face nine races in 11 weeks if a replacement date is approved.
