Executive called lazy during his paternity leave wins £1.45m from Goldman Sachs
Jonathan Reeves lost his London compliance job in 2022 right before finishing a six-month break to care for his new child. A tribunal ruled the bank unfairly replaced him with two people, noting a manager called him lazy for not job-hunting while away. His payout includes damages for the stigma of suing a major financial firm, but the company says it firmly rejects the findings.
