Ex-Fed chair Bernanke joins AI firm's oversight trust.

Anthropic has appointed Ben Bernanke, former chair of the US Federal Reserve, to its Long-Term Benefit Trust, an oversight body. The AI startup announced the appointment on Thursday, 12th October. The Long-Term Benefit Trust is responsible for overseeing the company's artificial intelligence development.
