EV tariffs could be delayed again until 2027
Electric car prices might not jump next year, as the EU is looking to delay new import tariffs that would make them more expensive. The UK and EU car industries have pushed for this second delay, saying they can't meet rules about where EV parts are made. Without the delay, a 10% tariff could add around £3,400 to the cost of an electric vehicle.
