European, North American, Asian football bodies plan rival tournaments to FIFA
More than 100 national football federations are reportedly discussing the creation of competitions intended to compete with FIFA's. UEFA, CONCACAF, and AFC leaders criticised FIFA president Gianni Infantino for secrecy after his scrapped plan to sell a World Cup stake. Several member teams, including England and Wales, have also said they won't re-elect Infantino as FIFA president.
