EU chief warns Europe at wildfire risk across continent
On Thursday, the individual leading the EU's Emergency Response Coordination Centre issued a warning that if fires in Spain and Portugal are not put out, the whole of Europe might be ablaze within days. Hadja Lahbib, the commissioner for crisis preparedness, said the European Commission's ambition is limited by member states.
