Eryri wildfire spreads across 2,000 acres in Rhinogydd mountains

Fire crews in North Wales are still battling a large mountain wildfire in the Rhinogydd mountains above Harlech, which has spread over about 2,000 acres. Natural Resources Wales received a request for aerial support, but a helicopter cannot be provided until the start of next week. Fire crews are keeping in touch with local properties and a campsite.
