England striker Ivan Toney charged; faces court days before Spain match
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the 30-year-old faces a charge of actual bodily harm relating to an incident last December. The footballer is due at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 24 September, just days before England host Spain. A spokesperson for the Al-Ahli forward said he is shocked and plans to clear his name entirely.
