England must qualify for Euro 2028 despite co-hosting tournament

England, Scotland, Wales, and the Republic of Ireland will not get automatic spots for Euro 2028, even though they are co-hosting the tournament. All four nations will compete in the qualifying stage alongside 50 other UEFA countries. However, UEFA has reserved two places for the highest-ranked host nations that do not qualify directly.
