England cricket captain Mike Smith dies at 92

Cricket fans are mourning after former England captain Mike Smith died aged 92. Warwickshire County Cricket Club announced his death on Monday after a career that included 50 Test matches and leadership in 25 of them. Smith scored 39,832 first-class runs across 637 matches and later worked as an ICC match referee from 1991 until 1996, while also playing rugby union for England once in 1956.
