England considers a new path for 10,000 delivery robots

People could soon see more autonomous delivery robots using pavements in towns and cities across England. Ministers are expected to back legal changes covering electric mobility scooters and wheelchairs that would also permit the machines, following a public consultation. Starship Technologies says it wants to sell more than 10,000 robots and build a UK manufacturing site if the law is clarified.
