Energy bills to drop £117 for households from April.
Ofgem confirmed household energy bills will decrease by an average of £117 from April. This represents a 7 per cent drop to the quarterly price cap, making the annual cost for a typical dual fuel household £1,641. Experts warn this significant fall could be short-lived, urging the government to ensure lasting changes. The Resolution Foundation suggests this measure will boost living standards and benefit lower-income households the most.
