Eleven EU nations want to end foreign policy veto power

Eleven EU countries have formally asked for an end to the vetoes that have stalled the bloc's foreign policy action. Germany, France and Spain are among those who signed a letter arguing the current system prevents common action. The group wants to use existing rules to switch to majority voting on foreign policy decisions.
