Egypt's Octagon is now the world's largest military headquarters

Egypt's new military headquarters, The Octagon, has replaced the Pentagon as the world's biggest. The site spans 22,000 acres, which is approximately equivalent to 50% of Washington, DC's landmass. The Octagon complex contains 13 zones and ten octagonal buildings, housing the Ministry of Defence and armed forces command.
