Eclipse chasers travel worldwide for Europe's first total solar eclipse in 25 years

For dedicated eclipse chasers, Wednesday's event is the first total solar eclipse in Europe in over a quarter of a century, and is like a World Cup for them. Mark Griffiths drove two days from Cheshire to Galicia, Spain, with specialist gear for his first total solar eclipse. Samantha Phillips-Brown and her husband Gregory flew to Iceland after their first awe-inspiring eclipse in 2023.
