EasyJet Loss Hits £552 Million After Iran War

Holiday travellers may face higher fares and fewer early booking deals as fuel costs climb and summer demand weakens. EasyJet said on Thursday its first-half loss reached £552 million, while ongoing fighting involving Iran continued to raise uncertainty around bookings and operating costs. Jet fuel prices have jumped more than 80% since February, though the airline said second-half bookings are currently 58% sold.
