EA boss gets £29 million bonus while laying off developers

Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson received a bonus of over £29 million in the 2026 financial year, a significant increase from the previous year. The bonus comes after EA laid off an undisclosed number of employees across studios working on Battlefield 6 in March. The company's 10-K report indicated Battlefield 6 achieved every milestone necessary for a high-quality launch.
