Dwayne Johnson's Moana remake receives bad reviews and poor box office

Disney's live-action Moana remake is getting some of the worst reviews of Dwayne Johnson's career for his performance. Critics called his portrayal of demigod Maui "oddly lacklustre" and like he was "on autopilot," with some finding the dynamic between characters creepy. The film, which cost $250m to make, is also set for a disappointing $40m-$60m US opening weekend.
