TV buyers could have been misled into thinking Dua Lipa backed Samsung products after her image appeared on packaging without approval. The singer has launched legal action against Samsung, claiming the company used her photograph on television boxes sold in the United States without consent or payment. Court papers indicate the claim seeks at least $15 million in damages.
