Drumcree parade mediation 'dead in the water' as legal challenge launched
Nationalist residents say talks to resolve the Drumcree parade dispute are over, as they launch a new legal challenge. The Garvaghy Road Residents' Coalition is seeking to re-establish a prohibition that prevents the Orange Order from parading along their street. They argue the Parades Commission “materially misdirected itself” in allowing the parade, which the Irish government called “incomprehensible and wrong”.
