Alex Karp, the boss of AI defence firm Palantir, has bought a huge area of forest in Härjedalen, Sweden, for about $22 million. Locals found out when their hunting leases were cancelled, as banning hunting was part of the sale agreement. Karp's new company, Cladonia Skog AB, says it will use the land for forestry and preservation.
