Dogs are sniffing out cancer in a new Indian trial
A startup called Dognosis in Bengaluru, India, is training dogs to detect early signs of cancer in human breath samples. The company initiated a Phase 3 trial involving 10 hospitals throughout India, with the goal of enrolling approximately 10,000 participants within a year. Dognosis intends to introduce a multi-cancer prescreening test for home use in India next year.
