Deadly heatwave breaks German record, cancels events

Germany experienced a record-breaking temperature of 41.3C recently, as the European heatwave shifted its focus to northern and eastern regions. Concerns for public health recently resulted in the cancellation of various events, including those in Paris and a music festival in the Netherlands. Previously, the World Meteorological Organization issued a warning regarding substantial impacts on health, ecosystems, farming, and the workforce.
