David Hockney funeral held with two mourners
Fans will instead remember the painter at memorial events planned for next year. His publicist said the 88-year-old's funeral had already happened, with partner Jean-Pierre Goncalves de Lima and great-nephew Richard Hockney the only people present, following his wishes. London comes first, before services in Los Angeles, Paris and Yorkshire, while most of his works will go to public institutions.
