A father allegedly punched a passer-by who had warned his family about going into the sea at Polzeath beach in Cornwall during Storm Austen. Witnesses said the couple took their two young children bodyboarding on Friday despite a red flag and gusts of up to 80mph. The man walked away after the blow, and RNLI lifeguards arrived minutes later to tell the family to leave.
