Curiosity rover finds mysterious honeycomb pattern on Mars surface

NASA's Curiosity rover found a unique honeycomb-like pattern, called polygonal fractures, measuring 1.5 to 3 inches in Mars' Valle Grande valley. While similar formations were seen before, this specific pattern is new to scientists, with its origins currently a mystery. NASA confirmed ancient Mars had the right chemistry and water to support microbial life.
