Cuba suffers nationwide power cut for sixth time this year

Millions across Cuba were left without electricity on Friday after the country's entire power grid experienced a "total disconnection". The energy ministry said a transmission fault and bad weather in central Cuba caused the outage, which started just before 2pm local time. By late evening, certain priority areas in Havana had their power supply reinstated.
