Crystal Palace stadium gets £130m upgrade, adds new pools.
The south London site will add fresh swimming and diving pools, a padel facility and pitches for five-a-side football. Planning bosses have officially approved the massive upgrade, which Mayor Sadiq Khan has promised to help deliver. The finished arena will become the capital's second biggest athletics venue, sitting just behind West Ham's stadium in size.
