Coroner to issue warning over woman's death from Nottinghamshire road fall

An 87-year-old woman died after her walking frame wheel got stuck in a Nottinghamshire road, leading to a fall and hip fracture. Assistant coroner Nathanael Hartley concluded her death was accidental but the fall "more than minimally contributed". He will now write to Nottinghamshire County Council about how they assess road damage.
