Congo Ebola outbreak kills over 1,000 as cases rise to 2,536

The Democratic Republic of Congo has recorded more than 1,000 deaths from the current Ebola outbreak. Government data, released late on Wednesday, confirmed 2,536 total cases of the virus across the country. On Monday, the eastern provinces of Ituri and North Kivu identified an additional 50 new cases.
