Clearlake Capital takes full control of Chelsea Football Club

Todd Boehly and Mark Walter's stakes in Chelsea have been acquired by majority owner Clearlake Capital, in conjunction with Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss. Clearlake, led by Behdad Eghbali and Jose E. Feliciano, now has full control of the club. Boehly, who had been chairman since the 2022 takeover, will leave his role but says he values his partnership with Clearlake.
