Children Paid to Attack Greater Manchester HMOs, Police Believe

Greater Manchester Police believe criminals are recruiting and paying vulnerable people, including children, to vandalise properties thought to be houses in multiple occupation. Around 50 attacks have been reported since 5 October, mostly in Salford, with others in Tameside and Stockport. Four adults were arrested this week, a 13-year-old boy was earlier arrested and bailed, and officers say social media is helping spread the attacks.
