Chelsea target £42m defender Giorgio Scalvini while restructuring their defensive squad
Chelsea are chasing Atalanta centre-back Giorgio Scalvini with a £42m price tag attached to the deal. Manager Xabi Alonso wants to trim his defensive ranks after already bringing in Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace. Newcastle and Tottenham are also monitoring the 22-year-old Italy international ahead of the summer window.
