Chelsea beat Fulham 3-2 in Xabi Alonso’s first game as coach

Chelsea commenced their Premier League campaign with a victory over West London rivals Fulham, with goals coming from Joao Pedro, Morgan Rogers, and Cole Palmer. New coach Xabi Alonso saw his team score 31 seconds into the first half, which was the quickest opening-round goal in 34 years.
