ChatGPT maker OpenAI plans to sell shares
OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, is planning to sell shares to the public, joining rival Anthropic in a race for investors. The artificial intelligence firm made a confidential filing with US regulators on Monday, though it hasn't set a date yet. This comes after Anthropic, a rival AI firm, revealed its own IPO plans last week.
