Canary Islands face "very high" to "extreme" fire danger

Spain's weather agency, AEMET, issued a warning on Wednesday about dangerous fire conditions across parts of the popular holiday destination. The agency advised caution because of increased wildfire risk, stating the threat from fires had attained "very high" or "extreme" classifications. More than six million British visitors head to the Canary Islands each year.
