Canada's public broadcaster, CBC, has told its journalists not to use the term "terrorist attack" for 9/11 ahead of its 25th-anniversary coverage. The policy is part of a long-standing company approach to avoid loaded words like "terrorist" to stay impartial in its reporting. Conservative MP Rachel Thomas criticised the memo, saying it dishonours victims and their families.
