Canada's Banks Got an Email About an AI That Hacks Faster Than They Can Patch
Canada's top banking regulator quietly warned RBC, TD, BMO and other giants about Anthropic's Claude Mythos. An AI system so capable at finding and exploiting security flaws that access to it is restricted worldwide. The April email says advanced models like it compress patch time from weeks to almost nothing. Euro-zone banks are locked out entirely; Canada gets limited access via "Project Glasswing."
