Campaigners want UK zero-hours contracts banned

Over a million people in the UK on zero-hours contracts could see their employment terms change. Campaigners like the Child Poverty Action Group and the TUC are urging ministers to ban these contracts, writing to the business department. Business Secretary Peter Kyle delayed a consultation due in January, but new rules are expected next year.
