Cabinet meets in Downing Street as crisis intensifies

Senior cabinet ministers arrived at 10 Downing Street on Tuesday morning for a critical weekly meeting that could determine Keir Starmer's future as prime minister. The meeting was originally scheduled to discuss the government's response to the war involving Iran but has been overshadowed by leadership pressure on the prime minister. Around 80 Labour MPs have now signed a letter calling on Starmer to set out a resignation timetable.
