Businesses can now apply for refunds on over $166bn of tariffs, though ordinary Americans may not directly benefit. The Trump administration launched a new digital claims system, 'Cape', on Monday after a Supreme Court ruling found the tariffs unlawful. Officials expect it to take 60 to 90 days for money to land in accounts, with some cases taking longer.
