Burnham to become Labour leader and prime minister Monday

Andy Burnham is set to outline a fresh direction for Britain in a speech on Friday, coinciding with his confirmation as the new Labour leader. Subsequently, he is scheduled to assume the role of prime minister, succeeding Sir Keir Starmer, on Monday.
