Burnham promises power shift across Britain

People across Britain could see stronger local economies if more areas help drive growth more evenly, according to the speech in future. In a major policy speech on Monday, Andy Burnham said he would move far more decision-making away from Whitehall. Burnham also said London faces an overheated economy and crowded housing market when regions and nations fail to reach their potential.
