BTS will skip the 2027 Grammy Awards
BTS announced on Instagram that the group will not submit any music for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards. The decision follows the Recording Academy's creation of a new Asian pop category, covering K-pop, J-pop and C-pop acts using an Asian language. The seven-member group, seen as a frontrunner for the category, said it wants its music judged without being separated by region or language.
