Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy said the club had “learnings” after captain Adam Reynolds’ disappointing send-off, calling it a “missed opportunity”. The halfback got an unenthusiastic farewell at Suncorp Stadium last week, with a sponsor promotion cutting into his lap of honour. Player Payne Haas, who is leaving the club, refused to explain his exit again, saying he had “said my part”.
