British Gas Takes 15 Months to Refund Customer £1,500
Beth Kojder waited 15 months for British Gas to refund her £1,500 after she moved out of her London flat in October 2024. Despite the Energy Ombudsman ruling in her favor in February 2025, British Gas only offered the refund this week, just before a small claims court hearing. Kojder complained months earlier when she didn't receive a final bill. British Gas apologized for the delay and said they were implementing the ombudsman's remedy.
