British Airways plane blocks Gatwick runway, diverting 14 flights

A British Airways plane experienced a technical fault upon landing at Gatwick Airport early on Wednesday, blocking the runway. The incident caused nine flights to declare fuel emergencies and a total of 14 flights to be diverted to other airports. Gatwick's main runway was closed for a period, but has since reopened, though some delays are still expected.
